THE Cardigan Ladies Rugby Club along with supporters recently took part in a sponsored walk which took them to Verwig and Gwbert to raise money for 10-year-old Mia Lloyd from Penparc.
Mia is the daughter of ex-Cardigan rugby player, Eurig Lloyd and wife Emma. Mia has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a cancer that affects around 30 children per year. Mia is currently undergoing treatment in Cardiff.
The walk included a stop-off at the Cliff Hotel where everyone tucked into a wholesome Sunday lunch.
